On a lovely fall Sunday morning, I was determined to see Harvard on my first visit to Boston. But, first things first….coffee! My friend Melissa and I decided on Crema Cafe, just steps away for the campus.
On the sign outside – “Maple Beignets until they sell out.” Oooo I’m so busting the diet and getting one of those yummy morsels.
The two story coffee shop is known as one of the best places to have coffee in Boston. So, put it on your list.
I ordered my usual almond milk latte and got a little love in my latte.
Melissa and I each got a beignet and both of us ordered an egg sandwich. I went for egg, cheddar and avocado on a homemade English muffin.
Great latte, healthy breakfast with a tiny yummy treat, beautiful crisp fall morning was a combination for a wonderful start to a Sunday exploring Harvard University and Cambridge.
After breakfast we decided to go on a long walk through campus and along the Charles River to cap off the perfect morning at Harvard.
