Townhall in Cleveland

Yes they have healthy food in Cleveland, and they have a really cool area called Ohio City. My first taste of Cleveland food was at Townhall

It has a casually cool contemporary vibe and a fantastic patio for brunch on a sunny day. We decided to do the bar side of Townhall. The bartender said they have the best Bloody Mary so that’s what I order. The touch of cucumber makes it refreshing and cooling after the spice.

After debating over a couple of items, the bartender said go with the 25th. Street Burrito. So I did gluten free. For a side I ordered avocado and tomatoes. The rosemary potatoes sounded delish too so ordered a side to try.

The burrito came sans tortilla and was a wonderful mix of fresh organic eggs, black beans, red peppers, onions, white cheddar, and pico de gallo.

The avocado and tomatoes were a perfect compliment as an accompanying side. Simply done with salt and pepper and they were fabulous.

So glad we ordered the rosemary potatoes to try. Perfectly done, the potatoes were crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and topped with salt and rosemary. SO good! Didn’t even need to dip them in ketchup.

After breakfast, we walked a block to explore the West Side Market.  The market dates back to 1840 and is Cleveland’s oldest publicly owned market.  There are over 100 vendors.  From kolaches to dried seaweed, you’ll find just about everything in this incredible ethnically diverse market. Don’t miss going upstairs to get a great view!
