I’m seeing green this summer and not just in lush valleys filled with wildflowers. It’s a green t-shirt. The EcoKnit Tee by United by Blue. It’s “green” in several ways. The obvious is the color. The tri-blend knit is made of sustainable materials – 42% recycled polyester, 30% organic cotton and 28% hemp. United by Blue is a certified B Corporation. They use sustainable materials and ethical manufacturing. For evey purchased product, United by Blue removes one pound of trash from oceans and waterways. They’ve helped remove over 3.6 million pounds of trash and counting!
The fit is flattering. It’s not to tight and not too loose at the waist. The fabric is crazy soft. I’ve worn it in Hawaii and Mexico. The fabric is breathable and comfortable in hot and humid conditions. It’s also great as a summer base layer in the Colorado mountains when you can be in a tee in the afternoon then layered with a long sleeve shirt or light sweater and jacket in the evenings. It’s the tee that once you wear it in one color, you want it in other colors.
I’ve also roadtested the packable recycled nylon windbreaker. I love the fit, except it’s a little too cropped for me. I wish it was several inches longer. It does layer nicely over the EcoKnit tee on cool summer mornings.

I haven’t snapped any pics yet, but I’m getting a lot of wear out of the EcoKnit t-shirt dress. I don’t have a lot of navy in my closet so it’s a welcome change in the wardrobe. It’s super cute with sneakers, sandals and flats. Plus, super easy to dress up or down with accessories. I love a super versatile dress!
All three pieces pack well and great additions to my travel wardrobe. Plus the prices are good too and you can get 15% off your first order from United by Blue. They have great clothes for men too.
