Waterwoman Sunglasses

I got to test out the new Costa Waterwoman sunglasses while fishing on Lake Michigan. The funny thing is, Captain Jeff was sporting a pair of Costa shades too. Since he runs Fast Break Charters out of Leland, Michigan, which is also called Fishtown, I figured I had the right the shades to help me catch a big one.

What I liked:

Cool Frames – I really like the transition from tortoise shell on the top to blue on the bottom of the frames.  They super stylish for being out on the water or just hanging out on the dock or beach.

Polarized Lens – The 580 lenses have better clarity out on the water. All of Costa sunglasses are 100% polarized. I also love that they are 100% UV A/B/C protection for eyes.

What I didn’t like:

Tight Fit – The tight fit of the sunglasses takes some getting used to.  But you want them tight when out on the water.  They’re more snug than I’m accustomed to.  Perhaps they’ll stretch out a little with wear.  The tight fit does make them great for other water activities like paddleboarding or kayaking.

I can deal with a tight fit if it means not losing my shades.  Since I caught two 30″-plus lake trout, think I’ll be sporting these glasses out on the water a lot!
