Hotel Talisa’s Matterhorn Cocktail (Recipe included)

Opening this year, Hotel Talisa is the new kid on the block in Vail, Colorado.  You may not know Vail was modeled after the alpine town of Zermatt, Switzerland.  In Hotel Talisa’s restaurant Gessner, you get to enjoy a blend of the Colorado Rockies and the Alps in the cuisine.

My cocktail of choice while I stayed at Talisa (check out my blog Time at Talisa), was the Matterhorn Cocktail.  I liked it so much I asked for the recipe so I could share.

Add a spring of rosemary and either some cranberries or pomegranate seeds and it’s a perfectly refreshing holiday cocktail!

Hotel Talisa’s Matterhorn Cocktail

1 oz. Leopold’s Gin

.5 oz. St. Germain Elderflower Liqueur

.5 oz. Red Grapefruit Juice

5 dash Fee Brothers Rose Water

Shake all ingredients over ice, strain into champagne flute and top with prosecco and garnish with a fresh grapefruit twist.
