I’ve stayed in a lot of Las Vegas hotel rooms over the years. Room 14202 at Conrad Las Vegas at Resorts World easily lands on my list of favorites.
It’s not over-the-top Vegas. Instead, the room feels bright, sleek, and surprisingly spacious. Natural light pours through the large window, while pops of red give the mostly neutral room just enough personality.
A Room With Space to Spare
The first thing I noticed when I walked into Room 14202 was how open it feels. There’s plenty of space around the king bed, plus a settee at the foot of it. Two red chairs and a round table create another seating area by the window.
The red accents are my favorite part of the design. They add a bold splash of color without making the room feel busy. Modern artwork, gold touches and the graphic carpet give it a contemporary Vegas vibe.
There’s also plenty of storage, a large television and a minibar area near the entrance. I’m always a fan of a hotel room with enough room to unpack without feeling like my suitcase has become part of the décor.
A Bathroom That Gets It Right
The bathroom is on point.
It’s spacious, bright and covered in light stone and marble tones. There’s a large glass shower and a separate soaking tub. The toilet is tucked into its own room, which is another detail I appreciate.
A large illuminated mirror dominates the vanity area, along with a smaller magnifying mirror. There’s ample counter space for toiletries, something that sounds minor, but it’s a big deal, especially in a glamourous destination like Las Vegas.
From the Mountains to the Las Vegas Strip
The view is another bonus.
From the 14th floor, Room 14202 looks across Las Vegas toward the mountains and part of the Strip. The floor-to-ceiling window fills the room with natural light during the day.
But sunrise is when the view really shines. The early light over the mountains adds a softer side to Vegas before the city kicks into full gear.
Staying at Conrad Las Vegas
Conrad Las Vegas is part of Resorts World Las Vegas on the north end of the Strip. The location puts restaurants, entertainment, gaming and resort amenities within the massive Resorts World complex.
For me, though, Room 14202 was a place I actually wanted to spend time between Vegas adventures. It’s spacious without feeling cavernous, stylish without trying too hard and filled with natural light.
In a city known for rooms designed to keep you downstairs in the casino, this is one I was very happy to come back to.
