A year after my first stay in one of the newly renovated suites at The Venetian Resort Las Vegas, I’m back. This time Room 23121, a king suite, was my Vegas home. I’m happy to report the suite life is still very swanky.
The Venetian completed renovations of all 4,000 suites in its Venetian towers in 2025. The design draws inspiration from the elaborate costumes of Venetian Carnival while giving the rooms a fresh, contemporary feel.
A Suite with Plenty of Space
Opening the door to Room 23121, the spacious layout is once again what strikes me first. The bedroom sits a few steps above a sunken living room, giving the suite two distinct spaces without closing either one off.
Rich red accents give the room a little Vegas drama. The king bed has a deep red leather headboard, while the living area has a large red sectional. A dining table, oversized television and plenty of seating make the lower level feel more like a small apartment than a hotel room.
The large window overlooking The Venetian and the Strip is a bonus. With the mountains rising beyond Las Vegas, it’s quite a view from the 23rd floor.
A Bathroom Made for Getting Vegas Ready
The marble bathroom might still be my favorite part of these suites. There’s a double vanity, separate glass shower, Roman soaking tub and private water closet. The bathroom in The Venetian’s remodeled Luxury King Suites is 130 square feet.
But it’s the separate lighted makeup vanity that wins me over. There’s plenty of room to spread out, and the lighting is fabulous for getting ready. The full-length mirror just outside the bathroom is another thoughtful touch.
Still One of My Favorite Vegas Rooms
When I stayed in Room 26133 last year, I wrote that sometimes the room really does steal the show. A year later and 3,000 floors down, well, technically three floors down, Room 23121 proves that still holds true.
The Venetian’s king suites balance classic Vegas indulgence with a more contemporary Italian-inspired look. They’re spacious, comfortable and just decadent enough. In Las Vegas, that seems about right.
My Favorite Quiet Spot at the Venetian
If you want a quiet coffee break, head to Truth & Tonic in Canyon Ranch Spa at the Venetian. You can dine in, or grab to go and enjoy your latte by the pool or savoring the corner space by the pool VIP check-in. That’s my favorite quiet spot.
