You won’t find any hotel chains in Todos Santos, just boutique hotels, inns, and private homes and condos. For a home away from home, stay at Casa de Suenos. You can find it on Airbnb. I’d heard all the raves about staying in an Airbnb internationally, but had yet to do until Todos Santos. Casa de Suenos exceeded all of my expectations.
The spacious home has three casitas with king size beds. Each casita is spacious, private and detached from the main house to give you a little personal space when you want time alone from family or others vacationing with you. The decor is a blend of Mexican and Southwestern.
This is a perfect home for friends, three couples, or families vacationing together. With the pool snaking the patio, Casa de Suenos is a tropical oasis against the desert landscape.
The entire home, from gourmet kitchen to rain shower in jetted tub in your casita is designed to be able to see the ocean. Swim laps or just float leisurely in the 61 meter long pool. There’s even a swim up bar for six and sunken BBQ pit with seating for six more.
Casa de Suenos main house is true indoor/outdoor living with wall to wall windows. The kitchen is equipped with all the comforts of home and updated appliances. The TV/game room of the main house is a fabulous gathering place.
The home is only a short seven minute walk to a white sand beach. You will likely see more jumping fish, pelicans, and even whales than people as you stroll the sand on a beach that will feel like it’s there just for you.
I thoroughly enjoyed the solitude of early morning walks on the desolate beach. The peacefulness of walking on the sand was juxtaposed by the thunderous crashing of the waves on the tiered shoreline.
There is a gardener/caretaker living on property and it is gated so you will feel completely secure. You can book this spectacular home on Airbnb. Owners Steve and Marlie will even share their favorite restaurants, things to do, and really go above and beyond to ensure your vacation exceeds your expectations. Make sure to tell them I sent ya! Oh, and don’t miss the incredible sunsets over the Pacific. The views from Casa de Suenos are stunning.
