Hyatt Hill Country’s Nature Trail

Hyatt Regency Hill Country Resort and Spa is just 20 minutes from downtown San Antonio, but you feel like you are world’s away at this Hill Country resort.

It’s only a mile, but exploring the Nature Trail while staying at the Hyatt Hill Country is a wonderful way to start the day.  It’s a great quick workout before you tee off on the golf course or just let the day slip away as you float down the lazy river. It’s a fascinating walk exploring the flora and fauna world of the resort.  The trail is clearly marked and is half paved and half mulch. While staying at Hyatt Hill Country for Christy’s Hope Golf Tournament in May, I decided to enjoy a wonderful Texas spring morning going back and forth on the nature trail. With glimpses of the golf course, birds singing, and the tree leaves blowing in the breeze, it is a great escape on the resort. There are more than 100 species of birds on the 300-acre resort, native plants like Texas sage and hummingbird bush, and all sorts of animals from squirrels to deer.
