Travel Purse You Can Wear 4 Ways

My travel gear, whether functional or fashionable, has to be versatile. On my recent trip to Switzerland and Paris I carried a purse that can be worn four ways. You can wear it as a crossbody, wristlet, shoulder bag or waist bag. I like to always have a smaller purse when I travel for just the essentials – money, credit card, passport, phone and lipstick. This purse fits that with room for more.

A friend introduced me to the brand Lo & Sons. The idea for the line was hatched when a woman in her mid-60s couldn’t find a travel purse that wasn’t too big, too frumpy or too overpriced. Helen’s sons Jan and Derek set out on a mission to create the perfect travel purse. Plus the brand is committed to sustainability and on a mission to double the number of their products made with eco-friendly materials by next year.

I went for the small The Waverley 2. It’s chic and compact. The classic style means it goes with everything, which I put to test as I was jumping from train to train, sightseeing in cities and out for nice dinners. There are a couple of design features I really like. First is the three card holders inside the zippered pocket. You can even stash your passport in that pocket too for safe keepings. There’s also an open pocket inside the purse so you can be super organized. On the outside is a discreet card holder pocket if you want to carry a couple of cards or a great spot for a train or bus ticket so you don’t have to unzip your purse.

It went great with jeans strolling around Zurich or with a little black dress for a night at Moulin Rouge in Paris. I personally think it pairs beautifully with a glass of wine or champagne.

Because of its small size, it easily fits in my travel backpack or larger tote. I just roll up the adjustable strap and put it in the purse with a lipstick or two. I’ve already taken it on other trips and have my eye on their ultra chic camera bags and stylish backpacks…or maybe one of the Catalina Deluxe Totes. They’re having a great sale right now so it’s the perfect time to up your travel purse game.
