Solitaire Sangria

It’s called “a diversified eatery.”  I stumbled up Solitaire Restaurant recently as my cousin Susan and I enjoyed a delightful evening stroll exploring the Highlands neighborhood in Denver.  The weather was perfect and we opted to dine outside.  It was the first hot day of June in Denver so I have to try their sangria.

It’s a cocktail that just oozes summertime and Solitaire’s Sangria did not disappoint.  Their version is wine, apple brandy, Asian pears, and fresh berries.  It was light, refreshing, and delightful to sip on a perfect patio evening.
